Are you someone who knows every question's answer but feels sleepy while writing the answers in an exam?

Are you someone who is active in other activities but fails to perform better in your exam?

Then you are the right person reading this article.

Exam season has arrived and so we should be well informed and prepared.

Friends, with many Competitive Exams on the way, we as a learner face numerous difficulties when it comes to exam preparation and appearing for exams. The major thing that surrounds us is the fear and stress that demotivates us from achieving our goal and giving our best in our exam.

It's not only us but also our family who experience the same. Our parents equally go through the same level of fear as us.

The only reason for such a kind of behavior is ill-preparation, lack of enough confidence, unhealthy time management, poor studying skills.

TIPS FOR EXAM PREPARATION:

Remember to follow the below mentioned tips from the day you enrol yourself for a particular exam in order to gain mastery over the subjects and clear your doubts much before hand

  1. SCHEDULE TIMETABLE:

Prepare a detailed timetable for every subject to be covered. Ensure to give equal weightage of time to all the subjects specifying the desired start and end date.

  1. DAILY CHECKLIST:

At the end of the day, keep a track of all the topics that you have covered in a day. Also with respect to that plan out your next day accordingly.

  1. COVER EASY TOPIC FIRST:

Covering easy topics at first boosts our morale and confidence. It enables us to feel at ease that you have completed a particular percentage of estimated syllabus.

  1. GIVE ENOUGH TIME FOR DIFFICULT TOPICS:

After you finish easy topics ensure to be more motivated to finish all the difficult topics too on time. Invest maximum time in understanding the difficult topics with perfection.

  1. PRACTICE DIAGRAMS:

Most students have a tendency to give maximum attention towards the theoretical part and concentrate much on reading but give least attention for practising diagrams or flowcharts if any which is important in better understanding. Ensure to give equal importance to diagrammatic explanation too by practising diagrams again and again till you reach almost perfection.

  1. SOLVE PLENTY OF QUESTIONS:

Solving questions from single reference books or textbooks is not sufficient. Try attempting questions from different reference books. Especially for math subjects, solve and practice as many questions as you can till you reach perfection.

  1. SELF ASSESSMENT:

Be faithful to yourself when you assess your own test. Be strict and not lenient. Try to find out as many mistakes as you can in order to understand a topic much better. Self assessment is the best way to improve your skills.

  1. DOUBTS CLEARANCE:

After faithful self assessment, make a list of all the mistakes that you have committed and get your doubts clarified by your teachers or professors.

Such kinds of questions will only create more fear in you if you are not aware of certain topics. Also distractions will move in by being in emotional touch with your loved ones. So be careful.

  1. DON'T PANIC ON SEEING YOUR FRIENDS:

On the day of exam, when you meet any particular friend holding a different reference book or revising something which you have not come across, just don't panic. Be chill and say to yourself that 'I know everything whatever I have studied'.
