A Skill is the learned ability to perform an action with determined results with good execution often within a given amount of time, energy, or both. Skills can often be divided into domain-general and domain-specific skills.
In everyday life, the development of life skills helps students to: 1) Find new ways of thinking and problem solving. 2) Recognise the impact of their actions and teach them to take responsibility for what they do rather than blame others. 3) Build confidence both in spoken skills and for group collaboration and cooperation.
Student life is occupied with so much stress and targets that as a student we fail to give our best in the development of the required skills to face every challenge of life.

Writing is one such skill which most students think it's better to be away from. As a student we do not give our 100% when it comes to expressing our ideas in a particular topic of importance. Most students even fail to score best in languages because of poor writing and grammar knowledge. Students fail to understand that Writing is the primary basis upon which a student's learning and intellect can be judged. Writing skill equips us with communication and thinking skills. It also fosters our ability to explain and refine our ideas to others and ourselves. Writing skills are an important part of communication. Writing expresses who we are as people. Reading is one such skill which students do not opt for by being busy in their routine. The academic books are the only ones which the students read just for the sake of clearing academic goals. Reading helps children learn to make sense not only of the world around them but also about people, building social-emotional skills and imagination. As well said, "Time and Tide waits for none". So as a student we should be wise enough to manage our time in such a way that we get enough time for self rejuvenation too apart from just the academics and studies. Effective time management allows students to complete more in less time, because their attention is focused and they're not wasting time on distractions of social media.

Communication is the act of giving, receiving, and sharing information. In contrast, poor communication skills lead to frequent misunderstanding and frustration.
