Tips To Crack NEET (UG) Without Joining Any Coaching Institute

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) or NEET (UG) is an all India pre-medical entrance test for students who wish to pursue  MBBS, BDS and AYUSH.

Since a decade there has been a tremendous  rise in the number of candidates appearing for NEET which has led many private educational institutions to open up special coaching centers for NEET demanding lakhs of fees by ensuring to deliver best quality and quantity in NEET. Due to this soaring fees many intellectually smart students though willing to join the special intensive coaching centers but cannot join in just because of the lack of enough funds.

But in this article I am going to share certain tips which will help a NEET aspirant to crack the exam with flying colors without spending a penny on coaching centers. But remember, if this article helps you then kindly share it with the others in need.

Rules for NEET Preparation:

  1. Do not panic, it's just an Entrance Test

  2. NCERT is your Bible

  3. Give equal Time to Physics, Chemistry & Biology

  4. Practice Numericals thoroughly

  5. Practice Diagrams and it's labellings

  6. Get to know the background information

  7. Practice Test on OMR sheet available in market.

  8. Avoid Night-Outs and unhealthy foods

  9. Be chill and plan wisely

  10. Do not Give Up

Follow this steps for achieving success in NEET:

  1. Invest In Resources

Investing in the right resources for NEET is of prime importance. Purchasing multiple reference books just because somebody told you that it's good, is not advisable. Survey the market for the best book, consult with your professor, google search for the best author and publication, read reviews of the top Rankers and then take your decision. It goes without saying that one must consider NCERT TEXTBOOK of Grade 11 & Grade 12 as BIBLE for the NEET Examination. One should make it clear that you just recite NCERT page by page to get the maximum output. So be wise in investing, NCERT should be the first priority.

  1. Plan Your Journey

After having done the best investment in books, one should proceed towards framing daily, weekly and yearly planner to achieve the goal. Plan your journey wise to cover everything possible in 2 years post Grade 10. One must refer the NCERT textbook and plan your syllabus accordingly. Unit wise deal with every chapter in detail. Allot more time and days for the topics or units which carry more weightage in the NEET examination.

  1. Set Daily Targets

Setting up a target to track your daily progress is highly important. We normally hear from the coaching center guides, professors, toppers or friends telling you that day and night you have to spend to crack NEET with flying colors, give atleast 6 to 7 hours of a day etc. But believe me minimum of 2 hours everyday starting from Grade 11 is more than sufficient to be a Topper. What is required is not quantity but quality of target that you achieve everyday.

  1. Surrender Quality Time

Allotting a specific time free from any kind of distraction is highly recommended. Studying for NEET requires peaceful environment and ambience as many new challenges but interesting concepts one will deal with. Ensure to give the best time in your 24 hours schedule. If you are a early morning bird, then wake up early finish your target and be free throughout the day for the other tasks. And if you are late night bird, then stay awake when others are sleeping and ensure to finish your target. But remember that continuously staying awake at night will disturb your body biological cycle and might lead to certain health issues. So be wise, surrender your best time now, and experience the creamy taste of success.

  1. Refer Online Notes

There are ample of notes available online, many are free whereas few are paid but at a very affordable rate. Ensure to Google search on this and extract the best notes, tips and tricks available for remembering a certain concept. Also follow the online notes published by famous leading NEET institutes (Byju's, Aakash, Mahesh Tutorials etc) in India.

  1. Watch YouTube Videos

Plethora of videos based on NEET is available on the free platform named YOUTUBE. Subscribe for NEET based channels, get updates from them and watch the videos with full concentration and attention. This will help your doubts and difficulties to minimize to a greater extent and bring clarity in the learnt concepts.

  1. Practice Mock Test

After having prepared for the particular chapter, unit, module or subject, develop a practice of giving test to check your progress and level of achievement in that particular chapter. Reference books comes with chapter wise exercises at the end of every chapter, one should solve it to understand where you stand in your accomplishment. Also Online Test papers (free & paid) is available easily for time bound practice. Depending upon the scores obtained in your test, repeat the present chapter or move towards the next chapter. But remember perfection is the key for success.

Every new step in life doesn't require investment in terms of money but in terms of time and your intelligence. So, Be Smart and Choose smart investments for your future.

All the Best!!!

Happy Learning!!!
