Truancy is any intentional, unjustified, unauthorised or illegal absence from compulsory education. To put it in simple words, Truancy is the problem or situation of school children being absent from school regularly or frequently without permission.
Truancy is a common behaviour observed among elementary school children. There could be many factors responsible for the truant behaviour and it might differ from student to student. It induces a deep feeling of belongingness, acceptance, interaction, love, care and respect in us for the community. Involvement of self in Community work helps us to build effective interactions with our society and surroundings thereby helps us in knowing the community better to create a positive relation. So, As a student we should ensure that we participate in every social event in order to keep our mental health balanced and healthy and avoid truancy.
Be Strong With Healthy Diet
Consumption of healthy balanced meals at regular intervals helps to keep a person healthy, wealthy and wise all the time. Avoid outside fast foods or junk foods. Include high proteins, minerals and fibrous foods in your daily diet, add a dash of nuts on a daily basis in order to boost your memory and cognitive skills. Hence, Minimize your chances of falling sick frequently thereby avoiding truancy in school.
Stop Procrastinating With Your Own Self
Procrastination is the act of delaying things until you are subjected to a sudden external force which induces a kind of stress and an unbalanced mind full of fear.
